The minutes from the November 9 meeting were read and approved. Mr. Azzarito related
recent financial
activity and the status of our accounts. His report was also accepted.
Jack reported on the proposed mining of the range area by an entity interested
on salvaging lead from
spent ammunition. The people doing it will not be checking
the range until spring.
We have applied to have a work crew from
Midstate Correctional do some work on the building and grounds
in the spring. Members
are asked to suggest projects for them to do.
A list of members
whose dues are not current was distributed. Our policy is to remove names from our data
base
when a listed individual does not pay club dues for two years in a row.
Kids to Kamp. We have three young people interested in attending under our sponsorship to a DEC camp
in 2016. The reservation process is not open as of this date.
Hunter Safety sessions. These have been scheduled for the first and second Saturdays in May. The
first
session will be on gun use and the second one on bow use.
Fishing charter raffle. A poster was displayed. It was noted that the tickets did not list the price and
they
will not be distributed for sale until they are revised. (update - The
price has been added and they are now
being sold. Posters will be put up in our
usual area places and the winner drawn at the May

The winner will schedule the trip with
the company and it will have to be done prior to September

New club patches. Secretary
Woodruff has been in contact with Midstate Awards and Apparel at the New
Hartford Shopping
Center and requested that the current shield shape be redesigned to a circle. This will make
it
possible to put the patch on a hat as well as a shirt or jacket.
Beef vs. pork. Our dinner attendance and income figures are roughly the same, regardless of which meat is
the main dish. It was decided to follow our usual routine and pork will be on the menu next fall.
Meeting in Old Forge. Director Scheehl reported on a meeting he
attended recently in Old Forge at which the
NYS Conservation Council was present.
Shootout in Inlet. The two entities conducting the annual snowmobile
shootout have left White Otter this year
