Draft Minutes for the White Otter Fish & Game Club for August 6, 2018
Present: President Jack Adams, Secretary Alan Woodruff, Director Robert Scheehl and five members.

President Adams called things to order on time at 7:30 p.m. The minutes for the July 2 meeting
were read and approved. The secretary reported that we have almost 550 members in good
standing for 2018-19 at the present time. He had prepared a list of those who are not current with their dues for those present to look over.
A written report was presented on behalf of our treasurer who was unable to be present.
After hearing the report and the current status of our accounts, the report was approved. It was also reported that the ticket sales for our annual "Kids to Camp"
raffle are going well.
Clubhouse siding project. The committee met prior to our meeting and opened the bids that had been received. Since a little more consideration to specifics
needed to be done, it was moved, seconded and passed that the committee be authorized to award the bid ASAP.
Cleanup and trash day. It was reported that someone is putting clay pigeons on the backstop and shooting at them. We hope to put a stop to that practice.
The cleanup and delivery of trash to the collection point went well and our appreciation is expressed to all who took part.
Ladies' room project. Club director Karen Marshall has made a major
donation to be used to improve things in our ladies' restroom. A report was
presented from Karen outlining what she and her committee have in mind.
Sears Garden maintenance. White Otters splits the cost of garden maintenance 50-50 with the Woodgate Free Library, which makes the arrangements. We have been given a bill from the library for $75 to cover our share for this work that
was done recently.
There was no old business at this time. Bob Scheehl suggested that the club
purchase White Otter hats for resale and presented a suggested design. He was
authorized to do an initial order of 50 hats.
The meeting was adjourned at 8 p.m. Respectfully submitted,
Alan Woodruff, Secretary
