Minutes for Regular Meeting on July 1, 2019 - Draft Pending approval at the next meeting on August 5
Present:  President Jack Adams, Vice President Dan Gilmore, Treasurer Lou Azzarito, Secretary Alan Woodruff,
Director Karen Marshall, Nominations Chair Tom Abrial and members Mike Crisafulli, Bob Hoffman, Ray Hotaling,
Gary Nitte, Bob Scheehl and Bill Seibert

President Adams called the meeting to order at 7:35.  The minutes for the annual meeting on June 7 were
read and approved.  The secretary read a thank you letter from Catholic Charities of Oneida and Madison
Counties for our covering the color printing cost of 300 certificates for use with the fishing program at
Camp Nazareth this summer.  He also stated that, as of tonight, we have 534 members in good standing.
Along with the memberships, we have received $396 in single dollar donations for the New York State
Conservation Council as well as $1168 in contributions for our activities.
Treasurer Azzarito related financial activity since our last meeting and gave the current amount in our
accounts.  His report was accepted.
Director Karen Marshll reported that the ladies' restroom renovation project was completed in three
and a half days.  Thanks go to the club members who did the work and to member Bob Whitehead for a
major donation of lumber.
Three new type florescent bulbs have been installed in the back of the meeting room and seem to have
eliminated the problem with turning the lights on, at least in that location.  It was moved, seconded and
approved to purchase sufficient bulbs to install throughout the clubhouse.
A problem with getting the field mowed was discussed.  Jack has secured our mower but it is in need
of two tires and a tractor to pull it.  The person who previously did the mowing is not able to do it at the
present time.  We will try to find a new person to undertake this project.
Our new sign for the front of the building has arrived and will be installed in the near future.
White Otter member Mike Smith of Rome was approved to fill a vacant director position.  Mr. Smith
has contributed considerable time and labor to club projects in recent years.
Those present were reminded that we have scheduled a work party on Saturday, July 13, starting at
noon.  Among other things, items to be taken to the Town of Forestport Trash Day on July 20 will be
collected and prepared for transport.
The meeting was adjourned.  Respectfully submitted,
Alan Woodruff, Secretary
